Ivamae

Ivamae

Ivamae spontaneously debuted on the Burlington music scene in late 2015, swooning listeners with velvety vocals, ambient guitar playing, and a charming stage presence. She quickly established herself a weekly residency in the Light Club Lamp Shop and be began recording her first EP Ocean Studios in early 2016. Mae’s original songs combine heartfelt, catchy verses and sultry R&B inspired vocals over an electric playing style that gently blends blues, jazz and folk. Her covers—which are always changing—are unique, intimate renditions that showcase her dynamic musicianship and constantly increasing prowess with the guitar. Her musical influences and inspirations are always expanding, as Mae has also been a DJ on WRUV for the last 2 years, and is known to occasionally spin vinyl at local venues and private events. Sensuous, honest, and soulful, ivamae uniquely stands out in the singer/songwriter community, and her performances are sure to delight listeners’ ears and serenade their souls.
