Feel the Thunder-Crush of Big Heavy World in the 9/1 Demolition Derby
A tiny little fever dream will come true on Thursday, September 1 when Big Heavy World enters the first heat of the Champlain Valley Fair demolition derby with a 1978 Chevy Nova donated by Burnett Scrap Metals, dressed-up by Burlington graffiti artists Tooth and Brian Clark and driven by Ian McCullough of central Vermont’s hardcore flamethrowers Reverser. Join us at 6:30pm to watch our #10 do it’s wicked metal-grinding! Tickets are available at the Flynn Box Office for $12/adults, $9/children 12 and under (tax, parking, and admission to the Fair are separate). The epic fun is made possible with support from Bond Auto, the hard work of the students of Center for Technology, Essex and their automotive technologies teacher Dan Clark; Magic Hat; Burnett Scrap Metals; Bee There Towing, and JM Motorsports Events. See a video of the car being painted; photos of the car in the shop with the kids; and photos of it being painted again.
