FLOYDIAN SLIP RADIO SHOW CONDUCTS 6TH ANNUAL PINK FLOYD COVER CONTEST Musicians invited to submit recordings of Pink Floyd songs for airplay, prizes

SHELBURNE, VT—"Floydian Slip," a syndicated radio program devoted to British rock band Pink Floyd, has announced its 6th annual "Surrogate Bands Pink Floyd Cover Contest."

Musicians are invited to submit their own recordings of Pink Floyd songs. Host Craig Bailey will feature the winning entry on a special episode of "Floydian Slip" and award the winner $200 in merchandise from The Official Web Store of Pink Floyd (shop.pinkfloyd.com).

The winning entry will be broadcast on "Floydian Slip” #1,055, an episode titled "Surrogate Bands," which will consist entirely of other artists' recordings of Pink Floyd songs. The show will air the week of June 27.

Contestants can enter by uploading their songs at floydianslip.com. Entries must be received no later than end of day Friday, June 24, 2016. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Complete contest rules are online.

"Floydian Slip” is heard on nearly 70 stations in the U.S., Canada and overseas.

Bailey started building the Random Precision Radio Network in summer 2009 when he began syndicating the show from his home studio under the moniker Random Precision Media LLC.

He aired his first episode of "Floydian Slip” in 1989 on Ithaca College's 106-VIC in Ithaca, N.Y., when he was a student majoring in broadcasting. He also produced it for Burlington, Vt.'s short-lived WEXP 105.1 FM (Experience 105.1) in 1994, and for 13 years at WCPV 101.3 FM, Burlington.

In its nearly 30 years, the show has earned mentions in, or served as a resource for, media around the world such as Billboard, Relix; "The Rough Guide to Pink Floyd"; Yahoo!
